Life is hard.
That’s why Heather Hart, founder of the #CandidlyChristian movement, compiled the anthology Candid Conversations in which twenty-five women share stories of their struggles.
God doesn’t intend for us to struggle alone. The Bible calls us to encourage one another as Paul did in his letters to the Corinthians. We’re to encourage, edify, exhort, pray—love one another.
But Candid Conversations isn’t just women complaining—it’s women caring about fellow sisters—enough to bare hurts, talk about the pain of growth through suffering, share the hollowness inside that only Jesus fills. Each author includes scriptures that were helpful and meaningful in her struggle. Because it’s all about Jesus.
I’m privileged to be a contributing author to Candid Conversations.

Candid Conversations is available in paperback and ebook. Personally, I like the paperback. Heather wrote questions at the end of each chapter, and readers can scribble notes, using the book as a devotional or a Bible study.
Thanks for sharing, Cristine! It was such a pleasure too work with you on this book!
