  1. like to read: Mostly non-fiction, especially related to history or social sciences

currently reading: The Soul of America: The Battle for Our Better Angels, by Jon Meacham

favorite book: Can’t imagine how any particular book could be the “favorite,” but Man’s Search For Meaning, by Viktor Frankl is one of the most profound and personally impactful books I have ever read.

    1. Thanks! Interesting that you chose “Man’s Search for Meaning.” I read that decades ago, in my psychotherapy training days, and it had a huge impact on me too, personally and professionally. Suffering, faith, humanity…it hits us where we live.

  2. My kind of questions!
I enjoy reading cozy mysteries and cozy suspense and cozy fantasy (i.e. not creepy) See a trend there?
Currently reading “Prayer” by Timothy Keller and “Because He Loves Me” by Elyse Fitztpatrick and some Clive Cussler novel. You’re right—none in my chosen genres
Favorite book: Seriously? It changes, but right now the book of Ruth (Bible). Ones that stick with me forever—”The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe” (C.S. Lewis) and “This Rough Magic” by Mary Stewart.

    1. Cozy! Makes me think of reading, curled up in a fleecy blanket with a mug of something hot.
Book of Ruth: have you read Liz Curtis Higgs “Here Burns My Candle” series? Based on Ruth. It’s wonderful Historical Fiction, though not your genre.
“This Rough Magic” going on my reading list!
      Thanks, Anita.
